Meet the Maker
Hi, I'm Michelle - the heart and hands behind Arcane Clay! I create handmade pottery that blends function with artistry. Some pieces are made to be used and loved every day, others are simply meant to be seen and enjoyed. Whether its a favorite mug or a sculptural form on a shelf, I aim to create work that feels warm, thoughtful and lasting.
Everything is made by hand in small batches in my home studio, where I balance clay work with motherhood and the beautiful chaos of everyday life. This business began as a creative outlet many years ago, and has grown into something I am deeply proud of - a way to share beauty, intention, and a bit of calm in a fast - moving world.

How it’s Made
This palette is made using a mid-fire stoneware clay. It is fired once, glazed a smooth, creamy white, and fired again. Each one is handmade and undergoes an intensive firing process that can sometimes cause unique characteristics and may show indications of such, such as speckles within the glaze finish, markings, etc. Controlling every aspect of ceramics and how they ultimately turn out is impossible, but each peculiarity adds to the character of the piece.
Shop Policies
We accept returns and exchanges within 14 days of delivery. Returns will be refunded once we have received the product in the same, unaltered condition as it was sent to you. If for some reason your order is damaged during transit, we require photographs of such, and upon inspection, we will offer a refund, exchange or discount depending on each specific situation. Beyond 14 days, we no longer accept returns or exchanges and the sale will be final.
We do not accept returns or exchanges on custom or commissioned pieces.
